Great job!

How does a person busted for burglary and cocaine possession get released immediately back into public from Wall? Not even spending a day in jail? And another crashing w DWI sending a person to the hospital not spend a night in jail? It makes no sense… They never see a judge just released… absurd..

ARREST MADE FOLLOWING THREAT BY PHONE
At approximately 3:23 PM on 1/26/25, Wall Police Communications received a phone call from an unidentified male. He indicated he was an employee of the 7-Eleven at 1601 State Highway 35 and did not want police officers in the parking lot. He further stated that he was retrieving a firearm before ending the phone call.
This prompted an immediate response from Patrol Squad 2, during which the business was temporarily closed and the premises were thoroughly cleared to safeguard the public and employees.
The threat was determined to be unsubstantiated, however, the Wall Township Patrol Division launched an investigation to identify the source of the call. By 8:03 PM the same evening, a warrant was issued for Erick Perez, a 27-year-old male from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and formerly of Belmar, New Jersey. Perez was charged with False Public Alarm, a third-degree crime. He was also found to have an additional active warrant out of Howell Township.
Later that night, Perez turned himself in at Wall Township Police Headquarters and was subsequently lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
This incident serves as a reminder that making threats, even those intended as hoaxes, is a serious crime with severe consequences. Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact Patrolman Driscoll at 732-449-4500 ext. 1206.

Who knows with these cops. Guilty until Proven innocent. I was arrested for azzack plugs in 2020. I received a formal apology from the state. The fine well seasoned 25 yr old at the time swore it was heroin. I was arrresred 20 years ago. It haunts me to this day. Even this morning. Just another stat for these guys. They like to say. “I don’t know you”. Why would I want to hurt you”’. They use these tactics to violate your civil rights. I received a warning about a week ago because my front license plate fell off. I was pulled over by Joshua wheeler badge number. 0209. I will be filing a formal Complaint against you in coming days. Nice to take advantage of me during tough economic times. My daughter’s mom passed. Not drug related. Domestic violence related. Wish one of the cops I called then went and helped her from being murdered. They ran there corrupt dog around my car. He hit on the back passenger bed of my truck. Real believable. They let me go. Theee was no drugs. He didn’t even really tell me why he pulled me over other the. The tags. I’m sure he saw the license in my center console when he searvcjed. Nothing came up. Made a disaster of my car. They even brought a ticker to the hotel I’m staying at. What’s that 8. Just like in brick. Didn’t plead guilty to one. Filed a complaint against him. Has anyone ever been. Approaches during a pullover without even mentioning why you’re being stopped. When’s the last time You have been incarecersred. This guy wheeler does. Makes you 45 min late for work. You’re a horrible cop and don’ belong on the force. Might make a page. Where we post All The horrible cops in local areas and there atrocities against our civil rights. No I don’t want you. In my car. Go bother someone else And find a better reason to mess someone’s day up. They profile Me. Wish I can post on the page. Filing a complaint and getting another attorney. Sorry wall two Tax payers.

Hopefully your internal affairs department can look into how officer Joshua wheeler conducts himself With motorist on there way to Work. He also showed up at my place of residence to give me ticket number 6 because he didn’t find any drugs on me. Something is wrong with your K-9 unit to hit on the passenger side corner of the bed of my truck to. Extremely suspect. Last time it happened. They made some drug charges up. I will be down to file a complaint against you Joshua. You reallly Used tax payers money to drive to where I live knowing I was at work. Our traffic stop took 45-60 min. 8:00am. This guy should never be a cop. It’s why no one wants to be one. New hiring at all time low. Why did they block off route 70 and have 4 other offficere there. Reason for the stop. He was behind me. Sneaky as hell. Followed me from 35 in wall- Brielle exit. I’m inspection sticker and my license plate fell off. He never even said any of that. VIDEO RELEASED: Investigation Underway Following Home Invasion and Vehicle Pursuit

Early yesterday morning, at 4:44 am, Wall Township Police responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence located on Baileys Corner Road. The caller reported that three masked individuals forcibly entered the home and subsequently fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle heading west on Allaire Road, towards State Highway 34.

Patrol units quickly located a blue Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows traveling westbound on Allaire Road. As the vehicle entered the traffic circle at Highway 34 and continued north on the Garden State Parkway (GSP), patrol officers attempted a traffic stop. The driver of the suspect vehicle failed to stop and fled northbound on the GSP. Due to safety concerns, the pursuit was ultimately ended.

At the residence, officers made contact with the homeowner, who reported that three suspects had broken into the home by forcing open a rear window. The suspects stole car keys from a counter inside the home, however they were unsuccessful at removing the vehicle from the property, before the homeowner contacted police. Home surveillance footage confirmed the account of the victim.

The Wall Township Police Detective Bureau is continuing the investigation and working to identify the suspects. It is believed that the actor(s) were in the area prior to 4:44 am on January 20, 2025.

Thanks for posting this. It's amazing you guys were even able to initially find the car at all. I didn't realize NJ doesn't allow you to stop people who don't want to be stopped, which isn't a dig on you but just a typical Jersey thing. There has to be a way to start putting these guys into forever boxes, otherwise they will just keep coming here victimizing us. Anyway, nice try getting them this time.

Just about the same thing happened to my coworker in Shark River Hills 2 months ago… police found the truck abandoned 2 weeks later in Newark. Shocker. People saying stand your ground, our castle doctrine works against us and you have a duty to retreat which basically means unless there’s a direct threat to life and the intruders are actively brandishing a weapon in your face you’re still possibly liable for murder/manslaughter regardless of the fact someone is in your home. The homeowner had no other option but letting them take their car, there was no immediate threat. Politics.

There is no good answer in these situations it seems.. if the cops did more they would be in trouble... If the homeowners defended there property and potentially there wellbeing they would be in trouble... I get why the officers had to terminate the pursuit that the public safety outweighs them continuing the pursuit because "no one was hurt during this crime" the problem is that these thugs know that the cops cannot chase and will just get in there stolen car and do 120 back to wherever they came from Everytime with no worries of the cops actually being able to get them it's really a joke tbh. There not even worried about it it's like they have free reign to do what they want and victimize who they want and laugh at all of us all while doing it... Yes although no one was hurt so the pursuit policies do not allowed for continued chase it s only a matter of time until that changes. I hate to say it but it's just a fact how many times can this happen before it goes bad. Something has got to give. We shouldn't have to live in fear.
