On Wednesday, November 7, 2018 Police Officers from the Wall Township Police Department conducted a presentation on Cyber Bullying and Internet Safety at the Wall Township Intermediate School. In attendance were parents of Wall Intermediate School students. During the presentation, Detective Anthony Lacher and Detective Ty Hughes provided safety tips for parents regarding their child’s use of social media outlets and phone “apps” such as “Facebook”, “Instagram”, and “SnapChat”. Parents were also educated on the laws pertaining to cyber harassment. The Cyber Bullying and Internet Safety presentation is part of the Wall Township Police Department’s “Safe School Initiative” and its continued commitment to a safe and secure school environment.
