Fatal Motorcycle Accident

On Thursday, October, 2020 at approximately 8:54 p.m., the Wall Township Police Department responded to the area of State Route 35 southbound near Atlantic Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.  The on scene investigation revealed that a 32 year old Jackson man was operating a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on State Route 35 near Atlantic Avenue (Manasquan Circle) when he lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a tree.  The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Wall Township Police Department Emergency Medical Services and paramedics from Hackensack-Meridian.  The motorcyclist was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.

The following agencies responded to the incident: Wall Township Police Department, Wall Township Police Department Emergency Medical Services, Hackensack-Meridian Paramedics, New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey Department of Transportation Emergency Response Division.
