Wall Police Introduce Animal Microchip Scanners

The Wall Township Police Department is pleased to announce that we have acquired two animal microchip scanners to assist in reuniting pets with their owners should they become lost. Pet owners are reminded to register their pet’s microchips and also register their dogs with the Township’s Clerk Office.

The Wall Township Police Department additionally has three certified Humane Law Enforcement Officers that help protect our animals and pets and to hold those who commit crimes against them accountable. Humane Law Enforcement Officers conduct investigations related to animal cruelty and can file criminal charges when appropriate. Lieutenant Chad Clark, Sergeant Ian Hatch and Patrolman Frank Kuhl are the certified Humane Law Enforcement Officers for the Wall Township Police Department.
