Emergency Medical Services
Wall Township EMS was started in 1999 and is a division of the Wall Township Police Department. Wall Township EMS is the primary EMS response agency answering calls for service 24/7/365. Wall EMS currently has 11 full-time employees and 21 part-time employees. They can operate seven fully stocked ambulances at any given time. The ambulances are inspected and licensed through the NJ Department of Health. The EMS division is staffed by state certified Emergency Medical Technicians and are responsible for providing first aid and basic life support services to the visitors and residents of Wall Township. In 2023 there were over 3200 emergency medical calls for Wall Township EMS. In 2024 we have responded to approximately 2700 calls for service. Wall Township additionally provides mutual aid to Neptune, Brick, Howell and Belmar.
