Little League Opening Day in Wall Township

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, The Wall Township Police Department set up parade routes for both South Wall Little League and North Wall Little League for opening day. The South Wall Little Leaguers, escorted by The South Wall Fire Department, marched down Tilton’s Corner to the South Wall Little League Complex. The North Wall Little Leaguers, escorted by The Glendola Fire Department, marched down Monmouth Blvd to the North Wall Little League complex.
Both South Wall and North Wall Little League had opening day ceremonies where our officers spent time talking with the young ball players and meeting with the parents and coaches. South Wall Little League featured first pitches by Mayor Kevin Orender for baseball and Committeewoman Erin Mangan for softball. We would like to wish all our Wall Township baseball and softball players a safe, happy, and fun spring season and we look forward to watching a few of your games.
