On Tuesday, August 6, 2019 the Wall Township Police Department hosted, “National Night Out 2019” which is also known as “America’s Night out against Crime”. The event was held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in front of Police Headquarters located at 2700 Allaire Road. It was a successful night that promoted increased safety and also strengthened the positive relationship between the Wall Township Police Department and the community it serves. The event was attended by all of the Wall Township Committee members including Mayor Kevin P. Orender. At the end of the event, Wall Township Police Officers formed a hand shake line in which the officers shook hands with the children that attended the event. The hand shake line has been an annual National Night Out tradition for the Wall Township Police Department. The Wall Township Police Department would like to thank all of the volunteer first responders, volunteer community groups, Monmouth County Prosecutors Office and the Wall Township Committee for attending and supporting this event.
