Police Officer Swearing In And Promotion
On Wednesday, October 26, 2017 at the Wall Township Committee, Patrol Officer Amy Drackwicz was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Drackwicz has been a police officer with the Wall Township Police Department for 5 years. Her previous assignments included the Patrol Division and Detective Bureau. Sergeant Drackwicz is a certified Drug Recognition Officer, Field Training Officer, LEAD Instructor and possesses a Bachelors of Arts degree. She has been awarded the Monmouth County DWI Top Gun Award in 2014, 2015 and in 2016 and has been recognized by Mother Against Drunk Driving for her outstanding achievement in this area. Sergeant Drackwicz will be Wall Townships Police Departments first female Police Sergeant.

At the same Wall Township Committee Meeting the below listed officers were sworn in as new full-time Police Officers with the Wall Township Police Department:
– Tyler Driscoll, 25 years old, Toms River, N.J. has a Bachelor’s Degree, has been employed by the Wall Township Police Department as Special II officer for the past year.
-Jason M. Paulus, 24 years old, Point Pleasant, N.J. has 68 college credits, is a Military Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps, as an E-5 Sergeant, and has been employed by the Wall Township Police Department as Special II officer for the past year.
-Karleigh Niedt, 22 years old, Jackson, N.J. has a Bachelor’s Degree, was previously employed by the Long Branch Police Department as a Special I Law Enforcement Officer and a Special II Law Enforcement Officer.
All three police officers will begin basic training at the Monmouth County Police Academy starting in January 2018.
