Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week

On October 25, 2018 Police Officers from the Wall Township Police Department worked with Wall High School teachers and students to produce “Words of Wisdom” morning video announcements in support “Red Ribbon Week”.  Red Ribbon Week is a campaign that began in 1988 by Nancy Reagan in response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena. Parents and youths in communities across the country began wearing red ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the violence and destruction caused by drugs in America.
