Reporting Process During COVID-19 Pandemic

The police department lobby will remain open to report serious and emergent matters.

For non-emergent matters call:  732-449-4500

REPORTING MINOR INCIDENTS:  To report a minor incident please contact the police desk at 732-449-4500.

REQUEST FOR RECORDS:  Anyone seeking police reports can contact 732-449-4500 option 1 or email records@wallpolice.org and provide the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone Number (for us to reach out to you should any follow up documents be needed in order to release certain records and ensure confidentiality)
  • The type of report you are requesting and a report number if available. You must have a vested interest in the report, such as being a victim or needing it for insurance purposes.
  • In some cases you may have to file an OPRA request (Open Public Records Act)

 

Accident Reports – Usually available 7-10 days after the date of the accident.  Visit Carfax CrashDocs at www.crashdocs.org  to download your report online.

FirearmsApplications are now done online with the New Jersey State Police Firearms Application & Registration System (FARS). Directions for Wall Township residents can be found at:  https://www.wallpolice.org/firearm-forms
