Wall Officers Save Ducklings

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Patrolman Kevin Orender and Patrolman Steve Swenson responded to the area of State Highway 35 and Belmar Boulevard for a report of baby ducklings in the roadway causing a traffic hazard.  Upon their arrival, a gaggle of baby ducklings were located in the roadway without the drake (male duck) and female Mallard insight.  The officers, with the help of concerned citizens, then safely gathered the baby ducklings from the roadway and reunited them with mature ducks nearby.
