On Thursday, May 9, 2019 Chief Kenneth Brown Jr. and the command staff of the Wall Township Police Department met with the community’s religious leaders at police headquarters to speak about police services available to them and to discuss any assistance that we can provide for each other. Today’s meeting with the community religious leaders is part of the police department’s community policing initiative. We would like to thank representatives from the following houses of worship: Grace Bible Church, Calvary Presbyterian Church, Allenwood Church, West Belmar United Methodist Church, Trinity Bible Church, New Apostolic Church; as well as Pastor Terrence Porter (Chaplain Monmouth County Police Chief’s Assoc.) and Pastor Lyddale Akins (Monmouth County Prosecutors Office Community Outreach Unit). Also present were Wall Township Deputy Mayor George K. Newberry and Committeeman Timothy J. Farrell.
