On Thursday, March 28, 2019 the Wall Township Police Department conducted a presentation on the dangers of driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics. The presentation was conducted for the junior class at Wall Township High School during their physical education and health class. The speaker was Sergeant Jack Gramlich who is a certified drug recognition expert. Drug recognition experts are able to conduct evaluations on drivers to determine if they are under the influence of narcotics through a series of evaluations including the evaluation of psychomotor skills and vital signs. Presently, the Wall Township Police Department is staffed with five drug recognition experts that are also police officers.
