As the Wall Township Office of Emergency Management anticipates additional confirmations of Wall Township residents testing positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19), the public is reminded of the following information: Our regional Health Department is ensuring that all proper notifications are made regarding possible exposures to the positive cases and all positive test patients are following all guidelines set by the Health Department.
Wall Township has implemented several emergency measures to effectively limit potential exposure. Town Hall has been closed to the public. While public parks remain open, the equipment within those parks is closed (playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc). Signage indicating the closures is being placed in those areas. Wall Township Police patrol officers will be monitoring the parks to assure for the safety of all residents.

The health and safety of our first responders remains paramount. The Office of Emergency Management is providing them with the necessary equipment and up-to-date information to effectively carry out their duties.
Please be aware of national and local disinformation campaigns. Wall Township municipal websites and social media pages will provide accurate local information regarding the COVID19 crisis. Additionally, New Jersey has launched a website specific to frequently asked COVID19 questions. It can be located at https://covid19.nj.gov/
Regarding COVID19 recommendations, https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus and https://www.nj.gov/health/ remain the best locations for accurate information. Community members are reminded that if they are utilizing protective equipment, such as disposable gloves and/or masks, in public places such as grocery stores, to properly dispose of them. This will help keep our community sanitary and limit exposure to others.
