On Sunday, November 25, 2018 heavy rain and high winds resulted in the Wall Township Police Department responding to numerous weather related calls for service that included several stranded motorists due to flooding conditions. Pictured below is Patrolman Michael Tancredi utilizing fishing waders to assist motorist stuck in approximately 4 feet of flood water on State Highway #18 to safety. The Wall Township Police Department worked closely with the Wall Township Public Works Department, Monmouth County Department of Transportation and State Department of Transportation to clear roadways of down trees and flood water. No power outages were reported during this storm, however, a utility pole on West Chicago Boulevard fell due to the high winds. South Wall Fire Department and JCP&L responded to assist in fixing the utility pole.
