Wall Township Police Department Achieves Re-Accreditation
The Wall Township Police Department is proud to announce that we achieved our 3rd Re-Accreditation through the New Jersey Association of the Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) Law Enforcement Accreditation Program. Accreditation status represents a significant professional achievement, it acknowledges the implementation of policies and procedures that are conceptually sound and operationally effective.
Recently a team of assessors inspected and reviewed our practices and procedures to include an on-site inspection of the police department. The NJSACOP Law Enforcement Accreditation Program commissioners then approved the Wall Township Police Department for its 3rd re-accreditation.
Accreditation status is good for three years. After three years, then agencies must be re-accredited to maintain their accreditation status. The Wall Township Police Department has been accredited since 2010.
